Currently the MangroveWatch program outside Australia is active only in Tampa Bay Florida (United States of America). We are keen to work with like-minded groups globally. If you are interested in applying MangroveWatch monitoring in your area, please let us know.

MangroveWatchers around the World

There has been considerable interest from groups around the World. The model suggested for groups outside of Australia can start with a Phase of Data Acquisition learning about and using the Shoreline Video Assessment Method. After this has been achieved, groups can then undertake further training in Data Assessment enabling them to become a local MangroveWatch Hub. This includes the compilation and issuing of tangible feedback and results like local area Report Cards.
